May I suggest, when you sit down at the table to celebrate Thanksgiving this year, you remember what you are giving thanks for, as you look around that table at your families.
May I suggest you remember a Wampanoag Sachem, Massasoit, who, at the beginning of this countries establishment, in the early part of the 1600s, educated the pilgrims on how to survive in this new country they were stealing.
May I suggest you remember the fact that all lands obtained by these settlers post their arrival was land they trick, or stole from the Wampanoag Indians and not bought and payed for as you were told in school.
After the English acquired the knowledge of the land, and, how to survive here in America, they no longer needed the Indian, and the Indian was nothing more then a obstacle in there plans to obtain land.
Along with there Christian values, they brought disease, thief, murder, trickery, and lies.
Keep in mind, there are races of people, native American people, that no longer breath the air that there forefathers breathed for over 10,000 years, there existent.
The murder of King Phillip,son of Massasoit, along with hundreds of men, women and yes children, was the beginning of the end for the true American, and the birth of this wonderful holiday celebration.
