Happy Easter

I recently watched the Passion Of Christ, The Mel Gibson Director, and screen play writer version. It  was the first time I watched this version of the Death and Resurrection of Jesus, and I was overwhelm by the hate and brutality in which people displayed for this man, I knew from reading the Bible and seeing other movies and documentaries about the death of Christ but the Mel Gibson version put the idea of Crucifying a person in a whole new light.  It's one thing to decide to bare the burdens of the human race and die for the cause, it's another to permit yourself to be inflicted with so much torture and pain. I am a believer in the gospels of Christ but I don't wear my faith on my sleeve. I also believe that my faith and spirit allow and permit unbelievers to live their lives as those unbelievers see fit and that if they ask!, I should explain why I believe and what I believe in. I've read the Bible, Koran, and books on different Hindu faiths. I see no problem with excepting different people as they are and not committed to trying to convert them to my religion.
Frankly, I think the history of the Easter Celebration before the Christians adopted it would frighten most true believers in Christianity, but that's another story no suited for this post.
My understanding of Christ has nothing to do with me forcing my way of thinking on anyone else, or telling a woman what or what not to do with her life and her unborn child,or enslaving a people because they look differently than I do, or stealing someones property because they don't celebrate Christmas on December 25th which I might add just might not be the day Jesus was born and might just be a good day to drive up profits in the retail market.

I think everyone should give thanks everyday they wake up and have an opportunity to aid their fellow man in their daily endeavors, I think we should celebrate the Resurrection Of Christ everyday and not just one day out of the year, I think we should love our enemies, and yes even the ones that call for your literal death because what good is it that you only love the ones that love you back everyday.

take notice of the people around you, they may look differently than you but I assure you, if you hurt them, they will feel pain and suffering just as you do. What you do to others will be done to you.
