Red State Review

For the past four months I've had the great pleasure of visiting several county jails throughout a few of the red states, Idaho, Utah, and the lovely Arizona. There are a few more I visited  but the observations were all the same .
, Let me get right to it, Methamphetamine!!! crystal, glass, whatever you want to call it, the source of the problem or should I say,.. the financial win fall for the  private prison industry in these states is Meth. Breaking Bad doesn't have anything on the people I met. I've heard some serious horror stories about what these people will do to get high on Meth., Here we have a man made drug, all of the items needed to put this stuff together can be purchased at your local CVS, or Walgreens, that folks have altered and configured in many different ways in order to stay up for days, picking the skin right off their faces. One story, which some of you already may know, is the fact that you can use a car battery, a window screen, and your everyday roach spray, preferably Raid, to create a batch.  This isn't the high grade material the users would prefer but it will do if you can hook up the battery to the window screen after you've sprayed it generously with the Raid and allow the electrical current to crystallized the chemicals in the Raid on the screen and poof!! your ready to smoke, shoot up, or if your old fashion snort your way right into the County Jail and on to the State Prison System.
 Unlike crack, you won't find to many African-Americans selling, or using this drug, unless the local law enforcement agencies are catching the blacks with the drugs and just letting them go because we have a black President......(PAUSE)....... The overwhelming majority of the sellers are either White or Hispanic, and all of the users I met were white!! I'm sure there are exceptions to this research that's been generated in some high rise right-wing funded think tank somewhere, I just haven't seen the report yet.

Because of the crack epidemic,  Americans received the crime bill, 100-1 sentencing for crack users and small time dealers, the FBOP got an overwhelming non-violent prison population as a result and the powder dealers, mostly white, got probation or smaller sentences. Here we have a predominantly white sold and told situation and the tough on crime Republican Congress is focused on there 200th attempt at repealing Obama Care. MMMMM!!

So, the next time you load up the family for a drive across American to see, let's say the Grand Canyon or the lakes and streams of Utah, remember!! somewhere at that very moment while your videoing the country side, a little 16 year old white boy or girl or both is boosting some Raid Roach Spray and ripping out there grandmothers door screen and stealing there uncles car battery to get a high.
