Well it seems Michele Bachmann has won the straw poll in the great state of Iowa, with about 17,000 total votes, and Michele receiving about 4,000 plus votes the congresswoman has push Tim Pawlenty right out of the race for the White house, it appears the petting zoo, free food, free music and everything else she gave away paid off. What does this victory mean?, absolutely nothing, other then the folks in Iowa were hungry. How come nobody has address the issues surrounding Michele Bachmann receiving federal funds when it comes to her 5,200 square foot home by way of freedy mac, almost $100,000 in federal medicaid money for her and her husbands anti gay clinic, close to $100,000 in federal grants for the family farm. It also seems not only did she win the straw poll, claiming to be for small government, it's o.k. to take federal money when it directly benefits her and her family. I'm not going to waste to much of my Sunday morning with this issue but I do want to say David Gregory ripped her a new one on meet the press this morning, asking her to comment on previous statements she has made on serious issues, legislation, budget issues, international policies, the lady was completely lost for words, she said and I quote, "the american people don't want these types of questions" can you believe it?, certain questions cause Michele to start loosing her thought process, she look, should I say," non compos mentis," to say the least. At any rate she moves on to meet some more of her supporters in the great state of Iowa and I for one certainly hope there are enough idiots out there to push her to the front of the pack come next November, I pray she'll be the nominee for the republican tea party, oh what fun that will be.
