Zeitgeist

What does our political system look like, and what is the realism. What most republicans refuse to face and own up to, is the effects of the european economy on our own. The new world order era, that was ushered in under the frist Bush administration in the 80s, has a lot to do with the U.S. markets and our own economy, and in turn, the political animosity that continues in Washington D.C. Historically when our country was faced with economic troubles, like the ones we face today, there was always a political cease fire called in order to repair the damages.
President Obama has offered a olive branch to the republican party on sereval occasions, only to discover, this offer to work together, met with intransigent obstructionist. The broad support for middle class and low income working people that has always drawn bipartisan support in congress has failed to get out of the republican controlled committee meetings. Many of these infrastructure bills would put middle class people back to work right away. Jobs that restore the roads and seaports that increase the goods and services we truck and ship around the world are now met with the embattledment of the tea party. Many political junkies, such as myself, have come to the realization that the tea party would rather see this country fail then Obama succeed. Is it because he's a democrat?, or is it because he's a black democrat who happens to be president. Several well known columnist, Peggy Noonan, of the Wall Street Journal for one, have gone so far as to call the president "a looser" and she stated," nobody loves him", these are the evangelistically tyrannical moronic statements that are evolving as a result of the delusional right wing tea party that holds this country hostage when it comes to growth. David Axelrod, senior strategist for the re-election of the Obama campaign, has laid out some of Obama's jobs plan, trade reforms, pattern reforms and the payroll tax credit of a $1000.00 for working class families. This will have a immense effect on the u.s. economy right away, but they have already been shot down by the right simply because Obama presented them. Most of these ideas were already in that republican house plan booklet they called, restoring the U.S. back to work, but when you offer a idea that they agreed to a year ago and now they are oposed to, I ask, how do you work with people like this. Fmr. C.B.C. Chair. Elijah Cummings, democrat from Maryland, was plain when he said the support of the African American vote for Obama is firm and strong but the people would like to see Obama fight the right instead of trying to work with them.
Governor Mitch Daniels, a republican from In. and fmr. budget director for George Bush, has gone on record with what he terms, a deep seeded negative outlook for the possibilities of the right working with the president. So, what does all this mean?, well my father always told me, don't start a fight but buddy, you better finish it, never let someone back you into a corner, and if you do!, you better fight your way out, swinging hard. I think this is what Obama needs to take into consideration, I know he doesn't want to appear to be another angry black man in america, but maybe that's what he needs to be, a angry black man, because that olive branch is burning in the fire under that pot of tea the republican party is drinking everyday. When people like Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachmann, both who remind me of Susanna Drake Shawnessy, run around this country bad mouthing the president and trying to blame him for all the ill will that goes on in D.C. when they both know, not only do they have no chance of becoming president, but their whole life's existence is base on Obama, and what he will and won't do from day to day. Yup!, Susanna Drake Shawnnessy. Hopfully the committee that meets next month will come to some sort of a agreement that will move the country in the right direction, if not, the next elections will look alot like that UFC fighting that goes on, blood and guts flying everywhere.
