At a time when Obama needs all of his supporters to rally around him and his push for jobs, when he needs the congressional black caucus to take into consideration the fight that has been going on in Washington D.C. to remove Barack Obama from office, when the tea party right wing assault on each and every idea for growing the economy by this president, no matter how good it is, can't even get to the floor of congress for an up or down vote, we have black leaders from the political arena and the public arena as well, pulling in different direction. Rather then working together, and pooling there resources to make a bigger impact and getting results, it seems to me, and I'm not in Washington D.C., that alot of this grand standing that has been going on isn't what the people need right now. People need jobs, not a day in the sun with their local congressional personal playing the blame game. There was a time when the democrats had the house support with the majority in their favor , and the mojority in the senate as well, that was the time for those congressional leaders to go out into the community and get a feel for what the people need, and then go back to D.C. and submit bills for a vote that would directly effect and help those areas. All this T.V. time and interviewing and grand standing doesn't help anyone looking for a job. It does make them look like they care, and it does fool a few people into thinking that the person they see for that second is fighting for them, but I'm here to tell you that isn't the case, it does give you false hope, and waste your time. Black leaders, and I'm not pointing out one or two, i mean all of them, male, female, talk show host, professors, congressional personal, business leaders, what ever, they need to sit down and figure out a plan and stick to it. Someone had to help them get to where they are, so I'm sure they know about helping people, in my opinion the money they make, the big houses they live in, the cars they drive, and the elbows they rub, have detached them from the neighborhoods that you and i live in. I don't want to sound cynical but that's the facts. Alot of these people that decided to pop up all of sudden and make speeches and go on t.v. and bash Barack Obama made alot of money when the stimulus bill was passed. Let me put it to you like this, you know that so-called friend we've all had in life that was always around everyday begging for stuff but when Friday rolled around and that person got their little pay check they wouldn't even pick up the phone?, well thats what's going on now, when they had company growth with the stimulus money they received, you didn't here from them, they hired their nephews, their girl friends, their wife's boy friends and somemore foolishness. So what's my point? don't be fooled by the flash in the pan showings of lately, keep in mind someone has been fighting everyday in D.C. for bills to get through congress, bills that will improve the lives of ordinary black people that want to better them selves. The problem is he's fighting alone, being called names like anti - American, socialist, hitler, terrorist, tar baby, and yes, even n****r, everyday. A no vote by African Americans next November is a vote in favor of the tea party, keep that in mind, and if you think Slick Rick Perry, or Mitt Romney will help you improve your life, then your delusional.
