Double Talk

I watched Meet The Press this morning, as I have done every Sunday morning for the last fifteen years. The political double talk I heard from Mitt Romney supporter, (R) Senator John McCain from Arizona, was astounding, over the years my political vocabulary has increased ten fold as a result of listening to the many different political pundits on both sides of a issue, words like "disingenuous", and phrases like "canary in the coal mine" have been brought to my attention along with several other new words that in laymen terms mean lie, cheat, and steal.  But when Senator McCain was asked about the statements and comments he made against Mitt Romney when Mitt Romney and he were running against each other in the republican primary, when David Gregory (host of Meet The Press), showed  Senator McCain video tape of him stating the very same negative things that President Obama is stating today with regards to Mitt Romney's record as the Governor of my home state, Massachusetts,[49th in job growth], and Mitt's record while he was at Bain stick up kid Capital, and was asked point blank " are these fair statements about Mitt Romney?" and McCain said, "well, aah!, it's not the same thing" I almost fell of my seat.

How is it a politician is never called, flat out, your a Lie! Is there some rule of politics that I'm not aware of? Why is it when one of these people are shown a video of something they said out of their own mouths, that politician will look straight at the camera and say I didn't say that, like Newt Gingrich did, or I didn't mean it the way it sounded, like Marco Rubio did, or, that was then and this is now and it's not the same thing like John McCain did this morning.
I'll tell you what, It's fathers day, so happy fathers day to all you real fathers out there, now!, try this, go out with your male friends tonight, go to a strip club stuff money in a strippers thong, get drunk, have your buddies make a video of these acts and then send it to your wife or girl friend, go home and try and tell her that the video is not telling the whole truth and she shouldn't believe her eyes and her intelligence.
Let me know how that works out.
