Here are some frighting facts about guns in this country. (1) People who profit from the sale of guns don't care who buys them, (2) People in states with stiff control laws that need guns get them from crooks that buy them in states with weak gun control laws and transport them to the state where they are wanted, for the right price. (3) People that claim their 2nd amendment rights are being taken away from them because of assault weapon bans sell guns to people that sell guns to people that shoot people.
Don't trend on me, that's the battle cry of the folks that claim their rights are being taken away from them, if they can't go to their local department store and buy a machine gun, image that, I hear time and time again the so-called data reports about the countries throughout history that removed guns from the population of the everyday common citizen that the murder rates always go up, really?, that if you take away AR-15s with 100 round clips, the federal government turns on them and starts to kill them off, one by one. We need our guns to keep the government in line. Well if you haven't noticed, the pentagon has a few guns of their own and whatever you buy from Bob's Gun Shop or the local department store won't help you if the government decided to knock your silly ass off.
This flame out in Colorado that stocked up on 6000 rounds, home made bombs, bullet proof suite, down to a groin protector, AR-15, 40cal. pistols, shotguns, and whatever else he has stashed in the woods wouldn't have been able to carry out this act of violence unless someone supplied him with those weapons of mass destruction, legally, key word legal!!!
There are 100s of nut jobs walking around states with tough guns laws that would love to "shoot up the place" the problem is they can't get guns as easy as this zipper head did in Colorado, where there LEGAL!!!!
Let me put it to you like this, if there were states that didn't outlaw rape, do you think those states would see an increase in rape victims?
