To Arms

 I haven't had time lately to pen a op-ed about the political conversation taking place these past few days simply because my job has been keeping me busy. I do want to say something about the buzz on the web about stocking up on weapons in order to keep the government from storming into your home and forcing you and your family into slavery. I recently viewed a blog called the "Citadel" in which there is an offer to join a Armed 'Defensible' Neighborhood Fortress in western Idaho. Now here's the offer, you and your family can sign up for a membership to join this western Idaho group and for a fee$$ you will be part of this new patriot homeland free of criminals and indoctrination from the liberal big government people that want to enslave you. If  your application isn't excepted you will be refunded your application fee minus a $33.00 administration fee.

Here's another offer, I just decided to create a land where all crime and bad things that happen everywhere, everyday doesn't exist, a place where everybody is happy and nobody ever gets sick.
You don't have to work or send your kids to school, you don't have to pay any bills or owe any money to a creditor. Of course if your application is rejected by my staff, you will be refunded your application fee minus the $33.00 administration fee.

This crazy idea that you can stock up on weapons to fight the government is biggest scam the NRA has been running since I don't know when. The first group that will side with the government will be the NRA!, make no mistake about it, they will turn over a list of there members to the government if pressed hard enough to save their own skin in a New York minute. The reason why you don't have a data bank of the gun owners in this country held by the government is because the NRA has it and will cooperate with Uncle Sam if it comes down to holding on to that money or turning over their members.

So!, you keep paying the NRA to keep your second Amendment rights as Americans, and their keep selling you a dream.
